Listen.. I am not an insensitive prick

but I don’t want to watch Anderson Cooper stand in front of the camera and talk about the victims of the shooting, reminding the viewers just how horrible the event was.. I don’t want to hear politicians talk about how so many good religious people perished because they were Black and simply were attending a simple Bible Study Group.. Don’t want to hear or see the Gov of this fucking state cry and talk about how South Carolina is in shock over the event ( my interpretation)

The only thing I wan’t to see right the fuck now is to see that fucking confederate flag immediately taken down.. Period!!!!

I know people who hang a confederate flag with that saying on it.

I live in PA and we have a LOT of people who display confederate flags here.

And folks can yell about (a misinterpretation of) Godwin's law or whatever, I don't give a shit. That is what it is to me.

A slap in the face to EVERYONE in the African American community. And to the rest of us, too. I find it tremendously insulting.

You'd think the stiff necked bastards down there would have realized it by now and grown up enough to get rid of that fucking flag.

Yes, I know it means something else to the south. It's still a disgrace.

Rip it down, incinerate it, realize the Articles of Confederation didn't work worth shit, and move on.

The south will rise again, but not while it's still clinging to the past.

May I suggest it is torn down and set ablaze on July 4th - the flame licking Obama's celebratory hotdog for the occasion. Dress that dog proper: mustard, onion and relish then take a big ass bite while God Bless America plays over the loudspeaker.

On the subject of the flag he said with a condescending tone, "You might like to pretend that past didn't exist,...."

Taking down the flag will cost absolutely nothing. It might cost something to redesign a flag, but big freaking deal.

Roy Barnes (D) former governor of GA changed the state flag, lost his reelection, and was the last democrat elected governor in GA. I have no doubt that every southern governor is well aware of the price they will pay if they attempt something similar. And that is even assuming they want to eliminate the despicable symbol, which I seriously doubt.

Gov. Barnes was awarded a JFK Library Profile in Courage award for changing the flag. That says a lot about what it takes in some states (not all of them southern) to take on their racist and bigoted citizens.
