Stewart: I Have No Jokes Tonight After Charleston

STEWART: .........I honestly have nothing."

"This wasn't a tornado, this was a racist," he said. "I hate to even use this pun, but this one, is black and white. There's no nuance here."

He pointed out how the Confederate flag still flies over South Carolina while its streets are named after the Southern army's generals.

"We're bringing it on ourselves," Stewart said.

"Sorry about no jokes," he concluded. He spent the rest of the show interviewing Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.

Our household is wondering what we will do when John goes. Who will speak for the sane Americans who witness and feel the pain of the insanity that is this country? My heart goes out to those who had loved ones ripped from there lives at the hands of racist killers. As John explained our war on terror is a farce. The terror reigns in the hearts of some very sick Americans. The most recent mass killings in theaters, schools and churches were the results of little white boys. That...is the bottom line!
