Dylann Roof is a racist...

piece of shit, a thug, a domestic terrorist, a murderer. His actions were the result of a 20 year lifetime of being taught to hate people of color. Racism and hatred taken to its logical conclusion results in murder. History has proven that time and time again.

I found Nikki Haley's refusal to acknowledge the institutional racism that exists in SC and other places, symbolized by a flag that is not the state flag, but proudly flown on the state house grounds very disheartening. That flag was flown there in protest to desegregation, and represents, not the heritage of the CSA, but the racism of our grandparents, passed down to our children through us.

Dylann Roof is responsible for his actions, and he will pay for them. But, in many ways, there are others responsible for what he did, including the defenders of that putrid symbol of hate who instilled their warped values in that young man. When will they be held accountable?
