She is calling on the legislature to write a law and vote on it. this summer. How hard is it to write: Remove Confederate flag from state house grounds permanently; on a piece of paper, then vote yea or nay? It could be one by the end of the day, if they wanted to.

This could be interesting. Bet your last dollar there will be a CCC/teabagger protest on the SH grounds very soon.

Her last statement was the only thing that she said that wasn't offensive, she ended with saying that the flag should come down.

That begins July 1st. I expected they'd take it up then after what I read earlier today.

That still gives them three days if they don't go in early. They don't have to wait until July 1st that I know, it's just when they're scheduled to return. The important thing is they've already approved the return, so there's no need for a special session.
