Confederate flag. So far he's got Sandford to say "I don't have a personal connection with that flag" and that he didn't speak up earlier because people needed time to mourn after the Charleston shooting. I guess it will be weeks of GOPers trying to rehistory their positions and we need to feel for them because they are the real people suffering a loss here, not the African americans who have had to put up with the flag for generations. Treat them tenderly.
