June 26 is also when the Supreme Court handed down decisions on DOMA in 2013 as we as a 2003 ruling against a Texas law that made sex between the same gender illegal.

Counsel, I'm not sure it's necessary to get into sexual orientation to resolve the case. I mean, if Sue loves Joe and Tom loves Joe, Sue can marry him and Tom can't. And the difference is based upon their different sex. Why isn’t that a straightforward question of sexual discrimination?

It could be 5-4, too, but I don't think there's any chance it won't go the right way.

So since Obamacare went 6-3 I don't think at least 6-3 is unreasonable for equality. we'll see.

I don't think it represents their feelings on the subject but I think when you look at how the wind is blowing, well, it is a full force hurricane now for equality and with little chance of it not passing, why stand on the wrong side of this historic vote?

That being said, the three of them are pretty fucking stupid, especially scalia and Thomas... if one breaks I would guess maybe alito.

Roberts was your typical corporate lawyer, albeit a very smart one...He strike me as being pragmatic...Alito, Thomas, and Scalia strike me as right wing ideologues.
