On this JOYOUS Day, let's explore the ages of the SCOTUS Justices...

Ruth Bader Ginsburg Born: 3/15/1933 Age: 82 yr 3 mo
Antonin Scalia Born: 3/11/1936 Age: 79 yr 3 mo
Anthony Kennedy Born: 7/23/1936 Age: 78 yr 11 mo
Stephen Breyer Born: 8/15/1938 Age: 76 yr 10 mo
Clarence Thomas Born: 6/23/1948 Age: 67 yr 0 mo
Samuel A. Alito, Jr. Born: 4/1/1950 Age: 65 yr 2 mo
Sonia Sotomayor Born:6/25/1954 Age: 61 yr 0 mo
John G. Roberts Born: 1/27/1955 Age: 60 yr 4 mo
Elena Kagan Born:4/28/1960 Age: 55 yr 1 mo

So add another 1 yr 6 mo to those ages when the next president takes office. Add 9yr 6 mo if that president serves two terms and it is highly likely the next president will replace 4 of 8 Associate Justices during their term. Two more to the left and two more to the right.

The entire balance of the SCOTUS for another generation is dependent upon the results of the 2016 election.

I think they prefer to be in an extreme minority in order to complain about their oppression.

Maybe the only way to reverse Citizens United, since the billionaires can thwart attempts to pass a constitutional amendment by threatening and/or buying politicians.

EVERYTHING for the next generation is held in the balance.

EVERYTHING for the next generation is to be determined by the outcome of the elections next year

Take back the Senate so our new Democratic President can get SCOTUS and other appointments through quickly!
