Is that nobody currently has a right to it. Since it isn't being applied selectively, there's no claim to be made for equal access. Notwithstanding, people should be able to enter into contracts freely, so why not poly-am? We're all big boys and girls, surely we should be allowed to conduct our relationships accordingly without undue interference.

The good that I've done by messing with them probably hasn't justified the time I've spent doing it, but every now and then I feel like being petty.

I went out with a few of my gay friends to celebrate. This Sunday is the Gay Pride parade in NY, so it was an extra sweet win for them. My belly is full of strawberry and coconut margaritas, shrimp quesadillas and nachos supreme (everything on them but the kitchen sink).

That is a variant on what I was told when I was forced to go to the local mental health operated by Richmond County, NC. The therapist told me that because I was gay, I needed to "get right with God."

I do wish reparative therapy was illegal nationwide too. It is dangerous for gay people to have to go through that. It NEEDS to be illegal in all areas of the country. It causes higher suicide rates in a group of people who already have much higher suicide rates. It doesn't work either. It just puts a gay person through hell for nothing. It is torture.

I may never be able to get married anyhow, for other reasons, but I am happy to see this ruling. It is so refreshing to see people be able to marry who they love, despite what asshole homophobes might think.

I should be suitably punished.
