1. Gotta admit, I didn't expect it from this SCOTUS.

As much as I applauded the upholding of ACA, it gave me a bad feeling that SCOTUS would "balance" it out by ruling against marriage equality. So happy I was wrong. But to also have Three-Strikes ruled unconstitutional is just some sweet icing on what must be a very bitter cake for the righties. Allow me to join in the Happy Dance.

The Court also upheld the Fair Housing Act

"WASHINGTON — A deeply divided Supreme Court delivered an unexpected reprieve to civil rights groups Thursday, ruling that housing discrimination need not be intentional in order to be illegal.

The justices said people objecting to lending, zoning, sales and rental practices can base their legal claim on the disparate impact those practices have on blacks or other minorities."

That night in 2008, I don't remember the exact time.., when Obama won the election..I couldn't believe it.
...In my lifetime..and here it is again.....
.... Marriage Equality, and some kind of health care for all.(if the states want it) ....plus ....... SCOTUS Strikes Down Three Strikes Law and Increased Sentencing Law as Violation of Due Process....and.............................................

Perhaps the whole thing will be eliminated, in time...Just like, in time.
.there will be equal payer, and medical care for all...everyone..
....this country is so slow on some issues. But I never thought I would live to see an Afro-American President, and Obama is.. President of the United States...

.I am just so happy that these events happened and they happened now...
