What a glorious day on DU was yesterday
I don't know whether splitting GD had something to do with it, but until late at night, all the posts were full of happiness and pride and celebrations. Not a single word criticizing the President or, for that matter, other Democrats. And the wonderful, heart stopping photos of the rainbowed White House, Little Rock and Niagara Falls were the top.

Yeah, it was a really bad week for terrible people.
And that is nice. 
My emotions spun such a '180' from the previous week, I thought I'd collapse from vertigo! lol
They don't come along very often. It is wonderful to be able to share those times with the good people of DU!

And yesterday was spectacular.
Between the Supreme Court decision, and related celebrations, and the Pinckney funeral and eulogy, yesterday was an emotional roller-coaster at DU unlike any other day in recent memory.
And to have all of that, in GD, without the primary sniping and nastiness, was truly glorious.

and yesterday was rivaled only by Election Day 2008.
It was a grand day.
