A major stroke in favor of the democratic process.

But I was surprised we won this one because if we can realign the congressional districts we might be able to start getting a congress that actually does their job and toss out some of these bums. Not right away but maybe in about 10 years.

(95,337 posts)If congressional districts had natural borders then we'd end up seeing more turnaround and less lifetime appointments.
I think this is a start. I really thought the SCOTUS would give this one to the GOP. Kennedy came through. Maybe it's to make up for Bush v. Gore.
