Unfortunately there's no vaccine against Jenny McCarthy's stupidity.
Jim Carrey left his 14 million Twitter followers in no doubt about his feelings on California's tough new vaccination law on Tuesday.
...
Carrey has been an activist on the issue since his relationship with Jenny McCarthy, the model, actor and author who believes her son's autism was caused by vaccines.
Despite lingering fears among some parents, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is clear that there is no link between vaccines and autism. Echoing the broad scientific consensus, the CDC says there is "no link between thimerosal-containing vaccines and [autism], as well as no link between the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine and [autism] in children."
During his Twitter sermon late Tuesday, Carrey also took aim at the CDC, calling it "corrupt" and unable to "solve a problem they helped start."

He will always be one of the best comedic actors, imo. Some of his movies are classics.

(22,000 posts)Frankly I'm glad she got booted from The View (she should have never been given the job in the first place).
As for Carrey, while I like his acting, his views on vaccines are ridiculous. Maybe after listening to McCarthy blab on about her son being the victim of a vaccine for so long he just accepted it.

(6,095 posts)vacinate. But we should not lie about it and should try to improve it. If we keep hiding the children that are harmed we will not find better methods. These companies acknowledge harm and pay damages too, all the time.
Cases show that there is a risk, we should be honest about that risk and fix it.
