On Thursday Serta became the latest company to announce it was ending its business relationship with celebrity plutocrat Donald Trump following his remarks on Mexican immigrants.
“Serta values diversity and does not agree with nor endorse the recent statements made by Mr. Trump,” the company said in a statement, declaring that it would not renew its contract with Trump at the end of the year. Per Bloomberg, the mattresses — part of, I shit you not, the Trump Home Collection — sold between $1,299 and $2,999. Here’s a model called “Camino Firm”:...
Rumors that the mattresses had “TRUMP” emblazoned on them in giant gold-fabrication lettering went unconfirmed at press time.
