From 9/11 forward he ties together an astute overview. The invasion of Iraq, the dismantling of a well armed and trained Iraq army, al Qaeda's diminishing role in the region as ISIS recruited those former Iraqi military and adopted a sophisticated recruiting media network. He adds a lot of background info, some individual accounts and doesn't parse any words on the West's media role in it all.
Really worth a watch.
