I experienced it first hand when Trump was on his birther rampage.....The right wingers that I know....they worshiped Trump....."Trump is going to get to the bottom of this, he is sending investigators to Hawaii" I had to listen to this in professional situations on more than one occasion.

Are we sure the democrat party didn't hire this guy? he is a businessman first after all... Going third party would basically lock in a victory for the democrats regardless of who wins the nomination.

This is all a publicity stunt, and it seems to be working very well. He's getting a lot of ink these days, which is all he's really interested in.

And it won't happen. Most major states have a "sore loser" election law. This law stops someone from getting on the ballot as an independent if they competed in the primaries of either the D or R parties. So Trump could not get on the ballot in enough states to become President or even affect the election one way or the other.

I think he's deliberately saying fucked up shit, knowing how bigoted the Republican Party faithful are.

If he can divide the party along ideological lines, that could be great.

Oh, and the Trump Card could just as easily hand the election to Bernie.

I lied, there's nothing breaking about that news. If you're a billionaire, of course your candidate is the one person most likely to keep the party going for the uber-rich.
