Big Business, Reagan & GOP Have Destroyed Industrial Base That Won WWI & WWII.

If we had a WWII type of scenario today we would have to surrender because we have sent most of our industrial and other crucial manufacturing to other countries and even given it to potential enemies. What the greatest generation created the GOP has destroyed. And they are patriotic.

We could not manufacture enough fast enough to fight such a war. To believe that such a scene is not possible tempts fate. And we are helping China build a military that could equal out own.

These trade agreements could be our end.

importing un-affordable while building a mfg base here.

Use tax incentives to create thousands of new manufacturing plants here.

Give union plants huge tax credits.

Corporations have no loyalty to anything but $$$$$

The people who run corporations have no loyalty to anything but $$$$$

They'd probably sell the Chinese the hardware they'd need to win a war against us.

I wonder how any of the current crop of candidates, save perhaps Bernie, might answer that if posed to them in a debate.

As you may recall, the Confederacy took the early lead at Bull Run/Manassas and held it right through Gettysburg. What turned the tide for the Union was its industrial might (slavery had kept the South agrarian) and the many immigrants who enlisted (again, with slaves, the South had little use for immigrants).

Private operations will need to be nationalized and handed over to employees for future ownership. Time to put the takers out of a job. The makers are tired of sacrificing for the greedy.

that industrial base into peace time jobs. I think it is ironic that what we have left are some huge companies that now make weapons for exportation to other countries.

This too will pass. Fate is overestimated when dealing with human emotions.
