Benghazi gold medals

Article I just read in July 13 Coin World magazine. On May 21, Rep. Ryan K. Zinke, R-Mont, introduced H.R. 2567, to posthumously award gold medals to the victims in the Benghazi attack. No problem but, why stop there? Wouldn't this be a perfect time for some Representative to amend the bill to add the names of all State Department victims from 2000 to 2008 or even earlier? Zinke said it "should not be about politics".

Of course it's about politics. Otherwise gold medals would have been awarded for similar acts in the past.
