This sea Lion meets and has a nap with her rescuers everyday.

Last year, a Galapagos sea lion named Panchita was caught up in a net, which left deep cuts all over her body. She managed to make it to this hotel, where animal advocates nursed her back to health for 3 months. After she was fully healed, she was released back into the wild. But every day, she returns to rest with the humans who rescued her, after being out at sea all day. She is now pregnant and expecting within a month.

This is just squee!!!!

Right now, I am trying to get someone to come get an injured raven. I think I could die when animals get hurt. (

and how many times she had to return before the management allowed her to remain?

I know ... that's a cold eye ... But I find rarely do human/wild life interactions end well for the wild life.

so that they can't hunt or escape predation. This sea lion may be in that category.

I hope the hotel has a plan to deal with this for the foreseeable future. It's cute now but when she's taught pups number 3 and 4 the same trick and the hotel has five or more sea lions on the chairs (with the attendant animal waste on patio), it may get not-so-cute pretty fast.

It COULD be okay if the hotel has thought this out.

But the more typical end to these things isn't pretty, you're right.
