If Jeb "meant" to say "full time jobs" why didn't he say it?

Apologist Nicolle Wallace on Morning Joe told us what Jeb "meant" when he said Americans needed to work longer hours.

Words have meaning, Nicolle. And while we're at it, Jeb also "could" have said "well paying jobs" but he didn't. And he could have said at least that people who work full time (one way or another) should not have to depend on food stamps. And he "could" have said that women should get equal pay for equal work, but he didn't. Hey, Nicolle, have you ever compared what they pay you with what they pay the guys on that show?

The guys were hardly any better and a helluva lot lazier. Mike Barnicle needs to go home to Boston. Willy is clueless. Even Sam Stein was listless and dull witted.

And Jeb could have been asked about saying if they worked longer hours they would be "more productive." HUH? American workers are already some of the most productive workers in any modern industrialized society. The problem is that they don't get paid accordingly.

And of course he had to drag in the old canard about the ACA forcing employers to give workers fewer hours to avoid providing them health care. And oh, those workers got health care all right...in Emergency Rooms which is far less cost effective than offering everybody primary health care in the first place.

What a lousy bunch of losers on that show today.

Seems to me paying a living wage for the work they do would accomplish the same thing.

But that would effect the wealth of his pals.

he knew damn well what he was saying. it was a dog whistle to the 1%. they want people working longer and harder for less while the obscenely rich continue to suck up the profits of the hardworking.

they want economic bondage, a return to slavery. but they will call it "growth."

I expect Wallace to spin for Bush but Willie Geist and Sam Stein were just as bad. Even the playing of the "full quote" was dishonest because they included Bush's walk back after Clinton called him out for his original statement. Just disgraceful on their part.

Watching CNN, and they were bashing Dems for jumping to conclusions about what poor, misunderstood Jebby meant. Anyone else get the impression that MSM is working overtime to elect a Republican president?
