Re the don't-thank-me/veteran the local radio wingnut said Shrub made a mistake/did NOT lie

So I take every opportunity from DU to harass the local radio wingnut, so I sent him the veteran's don't-thank-me rant (thanks to Quixote 1818 for the original thread) :



and apparently I finally managed to get under his skin (he says on the air he's never bothered because he's "on medication" haha).
This is the e-mail exchange:

First, I said: For years I've said what this other veteran says. The radio wingnut lectured me that I should be GRACIOUS. Yeah, in previous centuries he would be paying some schlub like me to take his place in military service.

So I said: I thought you had realized you can’t “win” or win-me-over to any kind of wingnuttiness, much less to your kindness to the BUSHes. You’re still swallowing the BUSH-whatever, or, minimally, bestowing some benefit-of-the-doubt. You’re from the Country Club wing of the Repukes, right, which doesn’t approve of the redneck wing. I think I detect the same disdain that JEB Crow Shrub (Old Cash) has for TRUMP (New Cash, even if his father had cash before him), when JEB Crow Shrub mimicked TRUMP going, “Arrrrgh, arrrgh, arrrgh, angry all the time.” I suspect JEB looks at TRUMP as blue collar, having to scrabble and scramble after moolah instead of reaping it via a wave of the royal finger. One of the other times I’ve penetrated your medication shield was when I said something nasty about another of your heroes, Kay Bailey HUTCHINSON, you know, the one who slapped her staffer and had them pick up a donut every morning for picking her up.

As for what you remember and what not, it could be the meds or just that you are such a busy bee that you don’t have time. So, yes, you told me that if I am wearing my veteran paraphernalia I am *ASKING* for the attention and asked why I couldn’t accept the gesture (graciously). But not to go off on insignificant things (the graciousness thing), yes, I believe that Shrub was partly a tool for the criminal CHEENEE, but that it suited his own purposes of revenge, not only revenge on his family’s enemies, but also revenge on Poppy BUSH (taking power *twice*, "fixing" what Poppy didn't finish) and on Jeb Crow Shrub (slapping him down from the power).
