(21,675 posts)he's fixed and an inside only cat, so whenever a wandering kitty comes around the door, he is very interested. he had a visitor yesterday, and he's been calling and looking for him today. he'd love to be outside playing with his kitty friends, but it's not safe for him. the last time he was outside, he got sick and it cost me nearly $500 at the vet. no more outside...

The other cat seems to have been socialized by people and doesn't know how to relate to the other cat very well.
The black cat is the junior cat in the house--the talker is the senior, only the talker isn't particularly mean or threatening--just a bit ... intrusive...!
