Since many of you hate TLC, you might be unaware that they are premiering a new show about Jazz, a trans teenager. I have posted links to her Youtube interviews in the past. It airs next Wednesday at 10 EST.
She is truly an amazing young woman who I hope opens some minds and hearts.
See ya...it's been fun.

(135,425 posts)Not sure what one has to do with the other; and I have not heard a uniform consensus from "many at DU" that we're expected to "hate TLC" either. I know some programs they've shown have deservedly been scorned (The Duggars and Honey Boo Boo--earning them the "Touching Little Children" mockery) but they also carry Who Do You Think You Are? and that amusing medium from Long Island who works very hard to make people feel better about themselves and their families. It's easy cheesy TV--so what? Hopefully this new show will 'up' their profile a bit--can't hurt.
