This Florida Democrat Will be Supporting Alan Grayson

Let's see, we've got a progressive who has shown his willingness to fight for progressive causes, and this guy:

(From Wikipedia)
"Murphy was a member of the Republican Party, donating the maximum individual contribution of $2,300 to Mitt Romney's 2008 presidential campaign and $4,800 to other Republican candidates, until four months prior to announcing his candidacy for Congress, at which time he switched his registration to the Democratic Party and donated $4,000 to a variety of Democratic candidates."

Let's add that Murphy voted against progressives 69% of the time and voted for the XL Pipeline, according to Politifact.

As far as Grayson's baggage, I'll quote Michael Franti . . .
. .I don't give a f&ck who they screwin' in private,
I wanna know who they screwin' in public

Having been a divorce attorney, I can assure you there are three stories. His, hers, and the truth, which the public will not be privy to.

If the only objective is to put a Senator in the seat with a D by his name, no matter how he or she votes, I believe those in charge have gone astray. While I will certainly hold my nose and vote for Murphy, if it comes down to that, I'd rather feel good about my vote. So for now, I'm pleased to support a candidate for the people-Alan Grayson.

These two (Grayson and Murphy) are literally going to tear each other to shreds as the Florida Republican Party sits back and laughs. Now there are people tied to Murphy demanding Congressional ethics investigations into Grayson's offshore hedge funds. The primary commercials here are going to be brutal.

It's the beating and badmouthing his wife in public I have issues with. And what about his avoiding taxes by sending millions of dollars overseas? Grayson is a bad human being.

I think he incorporated in the Grand Caymans like a million other businesses do. I'm not saying that's the proper thing for any corporation to do but to say he avoided paying taxes by sending millions of dollars overseas sounds repukey to me.

I'm going to do a lookysee about how he sent millions of dollars overseas, I'll be back in a bit.

profiting handsomely due to his incorporation in the Caymans, there is no proof that he is or I cannot find it on the open net.

He calls for auditing all the Fortune 500 companies that have incorporated in the Caymans, he should volunteer to be the first non Fortune 500 company to undergo the same audits he's calling for. I believe he would do so.

My perception is the right wing would truly love to stick some shit on him, they will stop at no end to do so. What do you think?

If you have any other info that I can peruse showing Mr Grayson is ripping off the U.S. tax system, please let me know. Thanks.

credit card ($69,000) without permission. He went to the police with it. As to avoiding taxes - are you sure he was not doing that as part of this dirty divorce settlement issue? I do not believe anything when it comes out of a divorce fight that involves money.

She tells us he is a bad man but what we loved about him when he was in congress was that he is a fighter. And from what I have read that is what he is doing. And this is not just some ordinary divorce case. This involves bigamy and the cover up of that bigamy for years.

I would vote for him not because of his private life but because he represents what I want in congress. I learned not to judge a politician because of his private life when Bill Clinton was in trouble.

He's just another corporatist that DWS and Bill Nelson keep shoving down our throats. I won't support or vote for any of their pets.

This is the same State that elected Rick Scott twice, and Marco Rubio once.
