GOP Congressman Thinks Donald Trump May Have Been Planted By The Democrats

While Donald Trump’s comments on undocumented immigrants and surging poll numbers in his bid for the presidency have some in the Republican Party concerned, one congressman thinks Trump may actually be a phantom candidate planted by Democrats.

Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.) shared his theory with Spanish-language media last week, according to the Miami Herald. During one radio interview, Curbelo said Trump could be “a phantom candidate recruited by the left to create this entire political circus.”

In addition to sharing his suspicions on Twitter, the Herald reports that Curbelo pointed to Trump’s relationship with the Clintons as potential evidence during another radio show.

don't like what you hear, you don't get to dump that shit onto the Democratic Party.

They need to own up to that Tea Party nonsense.

and a 15% wealth excise.

Not that he was "planted" so much as he doesn't want Republicans to win, and puts on an act to screw up their primaries.

But I think the ego-goes-nova theory fits even better. Curbelo is in a tough fight against Annette Taddeo and may be looking for some media love. I'm sure distancing himself from the ugly anti-hispanic element of the Republican Party is also important in his district.

Trump has acted like a super-clown, saying the craziest things since announcing. There's no way he's actually serious. Hispanics "love" him? Really?!

Likewise, I found it really suspicious when Robme slithered into the woodwork earlier this year, essentially handing the nomination to Jeb. But it looks like Mitt had a backup plan. Notice how Trump makes a point of going after Jeb's lack of energy (such a weird, Romney-esque put down).

This hypothesis would also explain why Trump finally, after 10 years, has his numbers together. Mitt has thousands of shady accountants/CPAs at his disposal.
