No More Wars Unless Rich Kids Go Too. War With Iran Would Be Bigger Disaster Than Iraq.

The GOP seems to be content to send kids to war. The trouble is that many of these soldiers are from middle and lower class. You never see the well to do in a uniform. We should reinstate the draft with no exemptions if another war is pursued.

It is too easy to send our volunteer forces to war because so few Americans have anyone in that game. "Support Our Troops" is just empty rhetoric and pseudo patriotic bravado. We just don't put our money into taking care of the wounded and disabled when the true cost comes. How many families are taking care of vets who are totally disabled and require 24 hour care.

There are so many reasons not to serve now because of how vets are now treated. And troops are dying to protect the assets of the rich when you really analyze the situation.

And it is bothersome that we will have vitriol over the Iran deal. And you can see the MSM aiding and abetting a push for war at a fever pitch. Now all the hawks are out spreading fear and terror.

And as you say. No exceptions, no deferments.

Don't send the "rich kids." Send their fucking parents who want the war in the first place.

as they are now 28 and 32, but I want to say that I oppose a draft totally. This is NOTHING like WWII, where the draft was a great equalizer and we were pretty much fighting to save civilization as we knew it.

These days? The various wars this country is fighting? Fuck all of them. They cannot have my sons. Those who wish to volunteer, fine, but do NOT ever expect me to thank you for your service. You served in a totally illegal and immoral war, and I will NEVER thank you for that.

Poor people should not be forced to fight wars for the elites.

If someone wants to volunteer, that is their decision.

Send the politicians (and ALL of their family members) that vote for war to

the front lines.

Send the owners of corporations (the war profiteers and ALL of their

family members) to the front lines.

Send all the people on Wall Street (and ALL of their family members)

who profit from wars to the front lines.

On average the enlisted military is somewhat richer and better educated than the US as a whole (officers are much richer and better educated than the US as a whole).

It's actually pretty hard to qualify for enlistment if you're very poor.
