8 things to watch for at GOP's Family Leadership Summit

1. Speeches are out, sit-down Q&As are in.

The 10 Republican presidential candidates appearing at Saturday's 2015 Family Leadership Summit won't be given a microphone so they can pontificate, organizers said.

Instead, focus group guru Frank Luntz will sit with each one on stage for roughly 20 to 25 minutes, asking probing questions meant to help an audience of religious conservatives determine if these White House aspirants are authentic in what they believe.

"It won't just be about policy. It will be about personal character, about values and who these candidates really are as people," Luntz told The Des Moines Register in a telephone interview.
