Is that the best you got, Joe?

Today, Joe Scar dug up an Al Franken quote from way back when he was still a comedian about John McCain not being a war hero. Like this is some kind of quid pro quo about "both sides do it."

To Harold Ford, Jr.'s credit, he said Franken wasn't in office at the time, he was a comedian and that made his remarks different from Trump's. Joe shot back "He was planning to run for the Senate."

Weak sauce, bro Joe...weak sauce...

After all, how else would you deflect what the CURRENT GOP FRONTRUNNER FOR PRESIDENT said except to play the "both sides" card?

...or, someone who didn't dig very deeply, which would make the poor sap eminently qualified to intern for Joe.

6. In Al's Air America days, he interviewed McCain and was respectful to him.

Al was a host on Air America from March 31, 2004, through February 14, 2007. I listened to one of his shows in which he interviewed John McCain. The two men seemed friendly and respectful to each other. Al brought up the subject of McCain having been downed by enemy fire in Viet Nam. McCain replied in a self-effacing tone, "It doesn't take a lot of talent to get shot down," whereupon Al responded with a laugh.
