Bernie Sanders is committed to busting up the media and banking oligarchies, ending the revolving door, and instituting Publicly Funded Elections. No other politician has been as clear on doing this and we probably won't see another for a long time. That is why getting Bernie elected and having millions of committed Americans at his back demanding these things is so important. If we don't stop corporate control soon, climate change will be the death of us all!

I know, sounds to crazy for some, but it is the truth. Corporations control almost all aspects of our Democracy and they will never address climate change in any realistic manner. Bernie is dead right when he says it will take a political revolution to accomplish this, but it can be done if enough people realize what is going on and commit to doing something about it.

Adminstering them would be awful.... Establishing eligilibity difficult, and they would be hugely expensive and divisive. Also, I consider them to be a pretty ineffective way to facilitate social and economic change. I would rather see money put against job training and government funded infrastructure and jobs programs. I think these programs should be targeted at AA communities, and also some traditionally deeply impoverished areas, like Appalachia, but with a definite eye toward traditionally disadvantaged AA communities.

I haven't really heard of a reparations plan that inthought was worth anything, or practical.

... I don't think we owe something to those victimized. I do. I just want it to be something that will really help them in the long run. But hey, I'll listen to any proposal.
