So, Planned Parenthood does not get much money from the government. The vast majority of federal dollars they receive come in the form of reimbursements for care they provide to Medicare patients (about $500M per year).
What if this entire poutrage about PP has nothing to do with abortion, but is instead a plan to shut them down, so some private Walmart type corporation can come in and grab that $500M?
It would definitely not be the first time that wingnuts riled up their Xtian right to benefit their corporate masters.
Wasnt it Lyndon Johnson who said; "If you can convince the lowest white man that he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll even empty his pockets for you."

(1,883 posts)Guess who's been getting all that money to buy and administer those fucking (and I literally mean fucking) vaginal ultrasound machines that are now required to get an abortion in so many states? Yes, a woman wants an abortion they have to go to a crisis pregnancy center and get a vaginal ultrasound administered by a unlicensed health care provider (true) that was paid for with OUR MONEY. It's rape of the worst kind.
Unlike when the GOPer's say that our "tax money is being used to rape", there is some truth to it with the example you site.
It's like I've been living in a fucking Bizarro World. Ever since St. Ronnie ascended to the Presidency, this country has been fucked in the head.

I doubt RWers will spend money on women's healthcare - even if it is a beloved, connected corporation.
