I believe this was the most significant step toward inclusivity NASCAR officials have taken in decades, Newman said.
Although NASCAR has for years banned the flag from cars and officially sanctioned merchandise, Newman said the public request strikes at the heart of two core values fans have held for decades.

(10,201 posts)Each type of race has its own unique appeal to me. Moto GP, or TT are my personal favorites.
Rally racing is quite exciting as well. But, I just love watching the bikes.

I don't see a huge outpouring of diverse interest coming out of this.
