I know the monster drilling rig was going to park itself on Seattle's waterfront, there were protests, and I THINK it was not allowed to park there?
So is this one in your thread the same or a different one and where is it going.?

Cannot imagine that a corporate behemoth thought it had the right to just barge into Seattle and plant some ugly ass giant monster on the waterfront, spoiling everyone's view.

I was wondering what was up. I thought it was some sort of decoration: the banners were quite colorful and rippling in the breeze...and you couldn't see the people from as far away as I was. Got home and my Facebook feed was full of commentary on the protest. This being Portland, the commentary was all favorable.

Best comment: "Thou shell not pass!"
