Siren of the Himalayas - Spellbinding images not of this world...K2, world's 2nd highest peak.

Photographer captures stunning pictures of Pakistani glacier using a drone after treacherous three week hike through the Himalayas

* Images captured by David Kaszlikowski in the Karakoram region of Pakistan during three week Himalayan trek

* Show the changing Concordia, where the Baltoro Glacier and the Godwin-Austen Glacier come together

* Were taken using a drone-mounted camera near to K2, the second highest mountain in the world

* Mr Kaszlikowski said the landscape is constantly changing and no-one will capture the same pictures again

Out of this world: At the heart of the glacier Mr Kaszilowski found this unusual formation, which he captured in the day and after dark

Stunning: The stars appear to be moving across the night sky in this image taken near K2, the world's second highest mountain

Frozen in time: The Polish photographer used a camera-mounted drone to capture this picture during a three week trek of the Himalayas

Spellbinding: Mr Kaszlikowski said: 'The place was special, it was disappearing, melting, and changing its form every day'

Magnificent: Mr Kaszlikowski was in the Himalayas to shoot the HBO documentary, K2 Touching the Sky, and used the drone during breaks

Fairyland of ice and rock. Phantasmagorical. The pros say K2 is a MUCH tougher climb than Everest. It's the 'mountaineer's mountain'.

Then after college, my boyfriend rented the film, "K2", from Blockbuster. Wow. (Really good film, by the way - probably a 9 out of 10 stars, IMHO.)

Ever since then, I've been fascinated with the mountain. Its reputation for lethality and its isolation make it only that much more alluring to me.
