No, we cannot! In_The_Wind Jul 2015 #2
Then how did that thread survive? Shankapotomus Jul 2015 #4
The consensus was to leave the op as "not all meta is disruptive". In_The_Wind Jul 2015 #6
Okay. Thank you Shankapotomus Jul 2015 #7

THIS one is the one that caused you to complain. That's interesting.

Sometimes it's hard to define what is disruptive.
Additionally, hosts are to only judge the OP.

his own 'sarcastic' we are told, thread about another DUer which sparked hundreds of purely meta responses. If that original obviously meta thread had been locked by hosts of the forum, the others would not have resulted.

So maybe standards need to be clarified. Is it okay for a host of a forum to get into the meta business or not?

And what constitutes meta? Slamming long time DUers in GD 'sarcastically' eg causing hundreds of comments that are pure meta to disrupt the forum?

Apparently meta is okay when a host posts it, so then it becomes difficult to change the standards when the host's thread isn't locked no?
