(118,332 posts)ordered Virginia to issue the plates when it was refusing to do so. Now, after the SCOTUS ruling, Virginia again insisted it wouldn't issue such plates, and plaintiffs went back to the judge to ask for continued enforcement of his prior order, arguing the SCOTUS case wasn't on-point.They lost there but he has yet to rule on whether the state can recall the plates issued under his prior order.
