As soon as this process of transformation has sufficiently decomposed the old society from top to bottom, as soon as the labourers are turned into proletarians, their means of labour into capital, as soon as the capitalist mode of production stands on its own feet, then the further socialisation of labour and further transformation of the land and other means of production into socially exploited and, therefore, common means of production, as well as the further expropriation of private proprietors, takes a new form. That which is now to be expropriated is no longer the labourer working for himself, but the capitalist exploiting many labourers. This expropriation is accomplished by the action of the immanent laws of capitalistic production itself, by the centralisation of capital. One capitalist always kills many.

(13,110 posts)power seem bound to do the SOS over and over.
The masses rarely have any choices.
If the global militaries and global police sided with the
masses things would change.
The masses need to stop fighting the wars of the powerful
and rich.
The masses need to stop policing the poor and police the rich
and those in power.
Everything is ass backwards.

(13,110 posts)The masses know exactly what is happening.
The global militaries and global police protect the rich and
those in power.
If the global militaries and the global police took the side of
the masses, things would change.

(7,321 posts)their very existence is completely dependant on the ruling class, and therefor their sole purpose for existing is to protect the ruling class.
They've know this for a long time. Most of the wars were fought to protect it.
The dual effect is that war protects capitalism, and feeds it by making profit off of it.

(23,867 posts)This is exactly what is at the heart of a multitude of problems existing in our societies today.
And all of the candidates but one are only going to promote and prolong our condition.
Once you see this, there is no other choice but to abandon our present situation.
It would be like discovering that you have volunteered to be an alcoholic, and now you know there is a better way, and not taking it.

2. Women occupying at least half of positions of power, influence, decision-making.
In my deservedly humble opinion.

Marx called it 'fetishism' and it is killing us.

comsumption without cogitation = disaster
The only positive that I see is that since Marx's time a higher precentage of the population has become aware of this. As Chomsky says: "progress is slow, even glacial..."
