Can Baron Hill win the Indiana Senate race in 2016?

Former Democratic congressman from Indiana Baron Hill is currently running for the open Indiana Senate seat currently vacated by Dan Coats, who won his old seat back in 2010 after former Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh retired in 2010. Bayh was rumored to run for his old seat again, and with Bayh still having buckloads of cash in his campaign account, it was likely that Bayh would have been the most electable Democrat in the state. But Bayh declined to run, and Baron Hill looks like the Democratic choice. I would like to see some other Hoosier Democrats run, such as former Ambassador to India and former Indiana congressman Timothy Roemer, former Indiana congressman Brad Ellsworth. Do you think that Baron Hill can beat the Indiana Republicans to take back this Senate seat?

Senator, former governor, son of a former senator.

Baron Hill would be a good choice too. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.
