Not sure why the pile-on but I don't follow the interpersonal stuff here that much.

It's the same m.o. they consistently use to privatize all public funded programs.
they hit the jackpot in using "GOD" as their reason for demeaning a program, defunding that program and then move those funds into their pockets.

Create a flimsy reason to kill the public programs & take the taxpayers dollars to line their pockets.

This would not be so easily accomplished if there was an even balance of power in our legislature.

Congress being the "money house", needs to be considerably changed to add a few more DEMs in 2016.

They were scoffing about how 'them liberals are all up in arms about the lion but let millions of babies die', then brought up the PP video. My dad stepped in and told them that it was heavily edited and PP did no wrong, etc. They, naturally denied it. My dad told them to read the statement from the Indiana Health Dept, etc.

They accused US of living in a bubble and said 'we're all entitled to our opinions' to which we replied, yes, but you are not entitled to your own facts.

You will never win an argument until they have been weaned from the hate driven multimedia industry. Sadly it's like a drug for them so that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

A good friend yesterday asked me about if I still support PP knowing that they sell baby parts. I told him straight up, that video is a fake, it's been edited. PP doesn't sell or make a profit like that video claims. I also went on to say that it is a shame that pro life as become pro lie and how that video will hurt your pro life cause way more than any supreme court ruling ever could. I also informed him that the state of Indiana already cleared PP of any wrong doing. And that any politician that attaches themselves to this video will be killing their political careers. Whether he took stalk in what I said is a completely different story.

But today I had a totally different conversation with a different fundie. Actually there were other right wingers taking part. But this conversation only further proves they are nuts. The topic started about the clown car debate that is coming up. I generally stay quiet when they talk politics. So I sat there and listened to them fawn all about the clowns running for the republican nominee. The talk moved to unions, and they hate them they think they should all be band including the one the military has. Ok that part confused me. But this is where I chimed in. The one on the anti union rant is a retired NYPD officer. I asked him if he really thinks the police union should be band. He said there is no police union and there never was. I refuted him. He got mad. Then went on to describe what he had and I said yeah that's a union. He said no it wasn't and that how dare I tell him about his job and that I know nothing. There is no police union. I LOL and said, "sure thing if you say there is no union then I guess all those people that belong to it are wrong." And I left the room.

Crazy people. You will not win if you only have facts to back you up.

I don't think you'll win though... I've decided to attempt to remove politics from such conversations.. So I pray for them. For being misled via Fox Entertainment nevermind PP broke zero laws and was well funded by Conservatives and Liberals alike. Conservatives because they can make money off tissue donation and Liberals because we care about people, babies mothers etc..

Or Mother Earth will do it in a not so humane way for us. Planned Parenthood is necessary to achieve this goal.
