I hope he believes this might be the right time to mention that the future of peace in the Middle East lies with a nuclear weapons-free Middle East, as proposed by Egypt at the United Nations.

Because it is Israel that now needs to be brought back into the international community of nations.

I believe he said that Israel is the only country against this deal
He's doing a great job of going back to Kennedy and after

You could see how emotional he got when talking about the disgraceful Iraq War and how we must avoid listening to those same war criminals. Shame on Democrats who don't support this agreement.

She was on MSNBC this morning claiming 24 days is enough to hide any secret weapons program. I expect that type of cray shit from GOPers not self described progressives.

Now they have more prep to do for the debate tomorrow night. If he'd done this tomorrow they could have ducked addressing it.

We need people to realize just how important this agreement is. I think this is the speech that will define his Presidency and our future with regards to war and peace.

He answered all of the objections of the Israeli protestors and taught me a lot more about our circumstances in dealing with Iran than I knew before.

He may have to use the veto, but his speech should have been enough to change many minds in the Congress....intelligent, peace-loving minds, I mean...

C-Span had one quote from Twitter (I think), the guy said to reinstate the draft in order to get the Republicans more involved in the wars they start, thru their children. Sounds like a great idea....

Destroyed every GOP talking point in very simple terms. Even gently/indirectly addressed the potential Democratic holdouts. Excellent. One of his best speeches as far as keeping it simple yet extremely informative. I learned a lot.
