What happens to GOP turnout if Rush turns against Fox, or cast bolt over treatment of Trump?

This is a dream scenario: Rush isn't very happy with Fox's "drive-by" of Donald Trump (he uses the term "drive-by media," whatever that means), and we know Hannity likes Trump. What happens if say, Hannity, and a few other people leave Fox News over Megyn Kelly, and they try to start a new "Fairer and Balanceder" TV-Tabloid? Or other talk guys, like Glenn Beck, Savage, etc. start to turn their listeners against Fox?

What happens to GOP turnout in 2016? What happens to the conservative "movement?" Does someone tell Roger Ailes "you're fired?" And what if Ailes were forced to resign? Who do they nominate if Fox becomes a disputed, rather than undisputed conservative rag?

I got to say, I have never seen such hypocrisy on part of Fox. Well I mean I have, but not towards their own, until now. They insult blacks, gays, and women left and right, as do their cast (remember O'Reilly's faloofa or whatever?) But Trump can't do it, tho every other Republican/conservative can?

1. The Teabagger / Traditional (R) divide still exists.

The power struggle within the party in on going. The Republicans need the Teabaggers to turn out and vote for them or they have no hope to win the White House.

I'm not sure how this plays out but I sure hope that Frankenstein's Monster finally turns on his creator and they are both mortally wounded.

Only time will tell, but since Trump said that if he isn't treated fairly he will run 3rd party he will need to either make good on that threat or claim that his treatment was fair (assuming he isn't their nominee). His ego won't allow him to back down from a fight, that would make him a loser.

want Hillary's mandate destroy or demeaned, as was against Bill because Perot robbed him of an absolute majority twice and the GOP seemed to have gotten away with claiming that Perot "spoiled" their candidates against all emprical data. (The GOP lie about Perot has been debunked) That may have had a serious deleterious effect on his entire presidency. I want Hillary to get the highest percentage of vote she can get just to shut them up. Even if its 50-49, or 51-48, I'd take that anyday over 45-29-26. That's why I don't want him as 3rd party. Also, if that happens, the GOP will use the same "majority" excuse to hurt her term. The polling data does show that Hillary wouldn't lose as many votes as Jeb, but she'd lose enough to take away an absolute majority.

I'd rather him get the nod so Hillary can smoke him like LBJ smoked Goldwater or Hoover smoked Al Smith, and it be 55-45. Tho if it has to be 50-41-7, like 1980 was, I'll take it. With an undisputed mandate, she can push her agenda much more easily, at least for the first year.

7. If she wins by at least 8 points, she has a mandate

as does anyone who wins by that margin or better. All serious prospects for the WH today need money, of both parties.

did not have mandates because the Dems retained control of the House in both elections? Or that Ike didn't have a mandate in 1956 when he blew Stevenson out again?

I would bet on Fox News over Rush. Rush is over-rated and not that bright. The people at Fox are far nastier and are clearly brighter than Rush

telling him that the farce is over and that it is time for him to present an honorable way to walk the whole thing back. Then the nation will breathe a huge collective sigh of relief as Jeb!? and Wanker, the more "reasonable" candidates, will return to the forefront of the race. In reality, they are even worse than he is.

Not to mention tentacles in government around the country.

They WILL find a way to make him miserable, and they will let him know it.

This is all assuming that he's not already on their payroll. Again, the Kochs' goal is to make their own hideous boys look like reasonable candidates.
