My dog could do a better interview than Jake Tapper !

Fiorina just said that under ACA, "Emergency visits are up 50%" and I have heard other candidates
say the same thing.

Where is she getting this statistic?? My dog would've asked ! How does Tapper call himself
a journalist when he doesn't even know enough to question her.

The only number I found close was that 47% of those surveyed saw a "slight increase". My bad if there is something else out there. Besides, I think people who were without health insurance are probably totally used to and comfortable with going to the ER and this will change over time.

Since January 1, 2014, when the requirement to have health coverage took effect in the Affordable Care Act, the volume of emergency patients in my emergency department has: Since the implementation of the ACA, the majority of member physicians have noticed an increase in the volume of emergency patients. Specifically, 47% of emergency physicians indicate slight increases in the number of patients, while 28% of respondents report significant increases in the number of emergency patients.

preceded and followed by the word snicker.
Example; John Doe, snicker "journalist" snicker, asked Senator so and so ............... with no follow up question as to the veracity of his or her answer.

The media has no time or responsibility for "research" or calling out lies, that costs money and would require real journalists and would waste valuable airtime pushing the propaganda demanded by corporate masters.

Remember, it is not propaganda if you know it is propaganda....cable news's worst nightmare is too many folks recall that.

" Ms Fiorina, you just said that ER rooms have experienced a 50% increase since ACA enacted. Could you please quote your source for that statistic?"

I would hope people would go to the emergency room if they are suffering from illness or injury. "Hey, I know you just fell off that ladder and cracked your skull on the concrete but don't go to the emergency room. Just walk it off."

Despite the fact that part of the justification for ACA is a reduction in costly ER visits - there is a complete and utter lack of concern for fellow human beings. This is the hugest elephant in the room and Dems don't call them out enough on it.

At one point, Tapper, asked her something like "You are a breast cancer survivor, don't you like the pre-existing provision so that those people less fortunate than you can get care as you did?" She is actually really good at diversion. She started by saying something like "Oh I supported that part....but now think the whole thing is bad." Of course, no follow-up from Tapper. Like: "Let me get this straight Ms Fiorina, you want to repeal ACA and whatever you replace it with will have no pre-existing provision?"
