I think that as long as Trump is enjoying the ride he is going to stay in the race. I doubt if he'll stay on if he gets bored with the huge slog it is to go through a long campaign. Then he'll be on to his next "deal."

Lots of voters (D & R) know more about reality TV than politics/government/world/etc, and they like him on his TV show. One of my friends is in this camp. And one of his kids in college has loved Trump for years so I wouldn't be surprised if he votes for Trump too but I don't know if he's a D.

Also, in my area illegal immigrants are perceived to have had a big negative influence on our schools, jobs, house prices, crime, tax base, and other areas. And many people (D & R) want someone who talks different hoping they will also act different. Politicians have been saying the same things and doing nothing for two decades and people are sick of it.

I was asking some of them why they are so much more adamant about her evilness than they are about her husband. I think they just cannot take a female in that office. This is one reason why I hope she wins. Can't wait for their heads to explode.

Several of my co-workers have expressed their delight with Trump, calling him an outsider. One asked me what I think and I said I think he's an idiot and has been buying politicians for decades, he's no outsider, but vote for any billionaire you prefer. What's really amazing is some of these are Mexican citizens that he would deport. The crazy is strong in Texas.
