About the only fast food commercials I like are the Sonic Burger, with those two guys in the car. I've never EATEN at a Sonic, but I think those two guys are hilarious.

For those who watched SNL a while back - those commercials always reminded me of Bill Clinton doing KFC commercials. I don't think I like Norm MacDonald quite so much, but still funny to me.
Sort of performance art. Because the two actors know you know who they are. They are having fun.
