O M G."Im not asked this question enough," he said. "Its the first decision that a party nominee makes thats an indication of how you make decisions as president. Once you get to the bottom line of this, a president is a decider. A president leads by making decisions."
"Decider" is a term his brother, former president George W. Bush, used often to describe his leadership skills.
The transformation is nearly complete.

I can't believe this kind of nonsense is getting traction with anyone. NO ONE in this country looks back wistfully at the wonderful Bush years, except maybe the top one half of one percent of the richest sociopaths in the nation.

Never forget Gore 2000.
Hey, by the way, Big Al, why don't you speak out now that you are out of the sordid mess and endorse Bernie? Why not advocate for the future? You saw what happened when they stole it from you. What happened to the world as a result? You are rich and powerful now and have nothing to lose by standing up for truth and justice. Big Al, feel the Bern and help us defeat the horrible ideas of the others.

(552 posts)And being a republican "decider" means that when you make the same wrong decisions over and over you should not have to suffer any consequences because it is the fault of the black, gay, Hispanic, poor person.
Also being a republican decider means that I just NEVER have anyone bring up my record of bad decisions. Just listen and believe me when I tell you how the next decision I make (which has already failed previously) is going to work this time.

(5,106 posts)He seems more and more like the sober suck up to the teachers, and therefore considered smart. Dubya is the class clown who gets mediocre grades but actually has equal intelligence. Either way the country loses. Either that, or Jeb IS smart enough to not really want to be president. Will no one rid us of these pesky Bushes?

(204 posts)Yes, the President makes decisions, but looking at your brother's record, and your record as governor of Florida, we have no confidence that you will make decisions that help the poor and middle-class. And we like the decisions that President Obama has made. You aren't on our side. You favor the rich and powerful and have no conscience. You should withdraw from the nominating process and go back to making money thru your family connections. George III was bad for the Americans of the 18th Century. George III is bad for the Americans of the 21st Century.
