If they're so concerned about killing "potential" babies, then how do they live with themselves knowing that almost all of their half of the necessary ingredients are routinely flushed down the toilet? If their intentions are pure, why don't they...
1. Never masturbate?
2. Only ever eject sperm from their bodies when all (thousands? millions?) of them have a reasonable chance at becoming a fully realized person?
3. Worry more about saving their own "potential" millions of babies than the one-a-month that women produce?
4. Fund research into finding a way for men to be pregnant and carry these potential babies, themselves?
5. NOT support research into medications (Viagra, anyone?) that cause EVEN MORE potential babies to be flushed down the toilet?
6. Support--financially, emotionally, medically--ALL of their offspring or potential offspring?
Of course I'm being ridiculous, but only to point out the ridiculousness of idiots like Santorum who want to outlaw birth control for women.
... them damned testicles just keep spawning them little swimmers, no matter what. (Short of an orchidectomy. {ouch}) Yes, Jockey shorts (briefs) will slow down production, but swimmers gotta swim. Those millions of little swimmers start soiling the sheets periodically even earlier than puberty ... "nocturnal emissions." Maybe the "Right To Life" folks would want to have a million funerals for every soiled sheet?
Embarrassing fact: I didn't know until well into my adulthood that it really is the male who "creates" life ... that a woman is born with all her eggs and a man produces those semen-backstrokers himself. I'd like to say it made me feel "proud" ... but I just wondered if that was why the only sport I ever excelled in was swimming.
Women don't "spill seed," so the flip-side of all the male abortion protesters are female "spilled seed" protesters.
Not a unique occurrence I might add.
