ANOTHER Chinese chemical plant explodes.

An explosion has been reported at a chemical plant in China's eastern province of Shandong.
The People's Daily said a warehouse at the Runxing Chemical plant exploded and firefighters are at the scene.

China's laws have seemed Draconian to outsiders but the PTB knew that cutting the birthrate was the only way they were going to survive the famines that happen in parts of China periodically.

Unfortunately, there are still so many people that life is cheap. They're just now beginning to realize that allowing businesses to pollute land and water will bite them. They're just now realizing that coal power plants have to be a stop gap while other resources are developed. They're also just realizing that smoking is a bad idea, especially for their educated people.

I know people in Shandong and they're downwind of the blast site. They're the visitors who taught me how to cook Chinese food. I hope they are OK.
