Yes, the two canoodling tea partiers have some explaining to do:
LANSING, Mich. (AP) - (08/24/15) - An investigation into two Michigan Republican lawmakers who had an affair has found misconduct and misuse of taxpayer resources.
Such a finding could lead to their expulsion from the Michigan House.
House Business Office Director Tim Bowlin said Monday in a news release that his office submitted a draft report on the preliminary findings involving Reps. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat to outside counsel for review.
The investigation was done to determine whether public resources were used to try and cover up the affair.
Courser has admitted to orchestrating a fictional email in May that said he was caught with a male prostitute to divert attention if the affair was revealed.
Gamrat and Courser have apologized, but said they didn't misuse resources. They previously have said they won't resign.

(82,849 posts)Courser and Gamrats knucklehead supporters might not care about family values politicians investigating one anothers naughty bits, but if they were using government time and resources to do it, they might find themselves in a spot of trouble. Hypocrisy is expected from these show ponies and is therefore forgivable. But misusing the office photocopier? Heads just might have to roll.
