to the bigotry, xenophobia and bimbo calling? Not to mention there goes the shakey truce with Roger Ailes, who has choosen to essentially ignore Trump these past few days.

Trump will soon be done.....his speech in Alabama, universally panned as boring, repetitive and rambling, not to mention utterly devoid of any meaning, barely got the networks a ratings bump and if that ends so will the media's slow summer reality show fill in.

America may be full of stupid, racist voters, but not near enough to hand the keys to the WH to a reality show candidate.

But somehow I think Ailes will find another reason to knuckle under to T Rump. I don't hold any brief for Megyn Kelly, but she should watch carefully how well her boss sticks up for his employee against a bully.

Gingrich, Santorum, Mr. 999, and Trump, the first time, in 2011.

Pump and dump, because there is no primary campaign underway, this is purely a media generated campaign season, just like the last time.

Rose on the crest of hysterical mass media coverage and died as soon as folks realized how crazy they all were and completely without substance and got bored of it all.

Same thing. After Trump dives the mass media will pick their next favorite GOP reality show host for another round of political pump and dump.

Trump can sense the general media dump coming I think, as Fox basically has ignored Trump since the debate....hence this second kick at the cat by Trump.

TV Newser ratings for Friday show little difference from a normal weekday audience across the board for CNN and Comcast (MSNBC).....must have startled a lot of media ad execs to see that!

And the Alabama debacle marked the beginning of the end, in my humble opinion.

they get a few bucks out of it in the slow season, and the slow season will soon be ending.

NYC is media HQ and they have been dealing with Trump's speed dialing for 40 years. They know Trump all too well to be fooled by this bullshit, but they also know ratings are ratings.

Ya know, NYC is stuck with him and he bulldozed his way into AC, but he tried his bullshit in LA and the laughed, then they yawned, then they told him to get the fuck out and back to New York. It worked.

It will work again.

next to nothing. Not to mention how the crowd seemed to get bored less than half way through...it was truly a disaster....but the media will wring a few more weeks out their self-serving pumping...if that.

Pump the Trump and Dump.

My mother taught me before I started grade school not to bully people, not to tease others about their appearance, and not to look down on folks not as fortunate as myself.

Fox News hosts Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly took place during a November 2011 discussion in which they tried to downplay the impact of pepper spray on student Occupy protesters at UC Davis:
O’Reilly: "First of all, pepper spray—that just burns your eyes, right?"
Kelly: "It’s like a derivative of actual pepper. It’s a food product, essentially."
