Imagine Joe Biden debating Donald Trump.

Its just a random thought and has nothing to do with Presidential preferences. I'm supporting Bernie Sanders and I still believe Biden will probably end up NOT running.

But I was just thinking earlier about what an abrasive asshole Donald Trump is and how much Joe Biden would be such a counter to him in a debate setting. Biden has no problems throwing punches in a debate and I believe he could land some hard ones on Trump. Trump is a coddled, spoiled, man child while Joe Biden is a street wise upper middle classer who knows about struggle and loss and bouncing back more than Trump could ever imagine or pretend. Trump pretends to be this "say just what I'm thinking" tough guy but has never had to struggle a day in his life. Joe Biden IS a "say just what I'm thinking" tough guy who has faced many, many struggles in his life.

I highly doubt Trump will actually be the Republican nominee when all is said and done but if he were, at the least, I'd love to see Joe Biden going after him on behalf of the Democratic nominee (who I hope will be Bernie Sanders). I just feel like Joe Biden might be the most equipped person in office to go out to the media and rip this guy apart and make it stick.

and Trump turning purple and throwing a wobbler. I honestly don't think it's a performance that would keep Trump popular with his dimwit fans.

5. Biden is too gentle and too easily thrown off track to debate with Trump.

Sanders is the perfect match for Trump.

Sanders has lots of debate experience and can counter every point Trump could raise. Bernie is the one to meet with any of the Republican candidates.

Biden is not gentle, he's smart and tough as nails when he has to be. He also doesn't suffer nonsense from right wing bullshitters gladly or any other way.

Both have exceptionally good bullshit detectors.

Grinning and laughing as he stuck the knives into Paul Ryan. Joe would utterly filet The Donald.

I love me some Joe Biden.

I wish the DNC had scheduled the debates to start earlier. Maybe we would know by now how the candidates are at this time when they debate.

Joe seemed to be holding back when "debating" Sarah Palin in 2008. ("Oh no, Joe! Don't say it's so!&quot

I suspect a Trump debate would go like 2012 rather than 2008. I suspect they were being cautious with Palin to avoid anything that could be construed as sexist...

and asking why Joe Biden, as head of the Senate confirmation committee, refused to allow the second black woman to testify that Clarence Thomas also harassed her.

Donald Trump will say anything, without regard to party label, if he thinks he will make some points. So this wouldn't be beyond him.
