(CNN) Donald Trump mocked Jeb Bush on Twitter on Tuesday morning after the former Florida governor dug himself into a deeper hole explaining his "anchor babies" comment.
"In a clumsy move to get out of his 'anchor babies' dilemma, where he signed that he would not use the term and now uses it, he blamed ASIANS," Trump wrote.
"Asians are very offended that JEB said that anchor babies applies to them as a way to be more politically correct to hispanics. A mess!" Trump then wrote, a few minutes later.
On Monday, Bush was trying to clean-up controversy over his use of the term "anchor babies" last week, but instead found himself in another mess after he said the offensive term was "frankly, more related to Asian people."

(3,937 posts)Hispanic voters. How long before Trump points out more directly that JEB's wife is a Mexican who was convicted of smuggling ?
I see Trump bringing two things into politics from his business dealings: 1) target your biggest competition early (Ballys and Harrahs in Atlantic City) and 2) greenmail them to your advantage, eg. leverage what you have to get paid a premium to go away.

(2,707 posts)than Donald Trump; Trump doesn't put his foot in his mouth as much as Jeb. Jeb is more like John Kerry 04 than Mitt Romney was likened to be him. I would say Jeb is the GOP's Michael Dukakis.

Birth tourism: An Irvine company makes $2 million in 2013 enticing foreign women to give birth to hundreds of babies in O.C., feds say
IRVINE Federal agents on Tuesday raided at least 20 residences in Southern California, including an apartment complex near John Wayne Airport, in an attempt to crack down on the growing practice of maternity tourism.
Federal and local law enforcement officials served search warrants and seized computers and documents at homes across Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. They also interviewed pregnant women who investigators say paid tens of thousands of dollars to companies that seek mostly Chinese clients, touting American citizenship, free education and other perks for their U.S.-born babies.
As part of the package, women were promised they would receive Social Security numbers and U.S. passports for their infants, which mothers would take with them when they left the U.S. After the U.S.-born children reach adulthood, they can then apply for visas for family members living abroad.
The operators advertised their services in China, charging fees ranging from $15,000 to $50,000. The more the client paid, the more perks the women got, including trips to Disneyland, shopping malls and outings to a firing range.

(8,419 posts)I would guess there are more Asians using the birth right.
Doesn't matter though, this is a twofer, piss off the Hispanics and Asians.
BTW, look at the percentage of Asians voting Democratic Party, it is close to the Hispanic percentage, so, please proceed Governor.
