Republicans Reeling: White House Candidates And Congressmen Took Cash From White Supremacists

http://www.politicususa.com/2015/06/22/republicans-reeling-white-house-candidates-congressmen-cash-white-supremacists.html

The Republican Party is being rocked by the news that three presidential candidates and several members of Congress took campaign donations from white supremacist group referenced by Charleston shooter Dylann Roof in his manifesto....

The hate speech and anti-immigrant policies of the Republican Party are appealing to racists. Rep. Steve King is a flaming racist who regularly demonizes immigrants. Sen. Tom Cotton has also engaged in the anti-immigrant rhetoric while calling for military action against Muslims in the Middle East.

Attention will focus on the donations to Republican presidential candidates, but this is a party wide issue. Republicans have spent years trying to divide the country along racial lines, and the racist chickens are coming home to roost.

Racists hear the Republican dog whistles loud and clear when it comes to President Obama and other minorities. The Republican Party is the anti-minority party. Republicans oppose equality and citizenship women, Hispanics, gays, and African-Americans. This platform has not only made it virtually impossible for Republicans to win the White House. It has also turned the GOP into the party of racist hate.

I'm shocked. Shocked!

the comment that it's "virtually impossible for Republicans to win the White House" (now) because of the platform.

With the electronic voting machines counting the votes, it's quite possible for any Republican to win the White House. There's no limit to how far the results can be tilted. Every election cycle there is always one or more election where the result astounds because of the divergence from the pre-election polls or exit polls. In one primary in SC, the winner was a complete cipher. Nobody knew him from Adam, he didn't campaign at all, and nobody campaigned for him, yet he won by a 2-1 margin.

families? That when they take money from white supremacist organizations, they hurt their own supporters in more cases than they probably realize???

Do they live behind walls that prevent them from seeing their own reality?

white...how much more evidence do folks need?

At least the connections in this case of yet another politically connected white supremacist killer is so obvious it can not be ignored....maybe.

Notice there are no "bundlers" here....direct money from white supremacist citizen to white supremacist politicians for white supremacist laws to be passed

If this is not criminal it should be.

The GOP are not only racists. They are also war-mongers, and corrupted by money. Plus many of them are just down-right stupid. Sadly the ones that aren't stupid are evil geniuses, like Dick Cheney.

since at least the 1990s. I remember Trent Lott, Bob Barr, and a few others were really active, openly, with that group back in the 90s. I thought it was common knowledge that the GOP was in bed with that group.
